Our Hybrid Barber Crossover 2A program aims to provide you with the right tools and skills to assist you in making this a successful career.  With the right attitude and some dedication, top barbers are more than capable of earning six figure salaries.  Our students are able to witness the industry daily through our barber instructors and in house barber shop.  Receive training from industry professionals, with a combined total of over 30 years of professional experience.

Training consists of learning how to use the straight razor, proper blending techniques (with clippers and shears), proper ways to do line-ups, cutting all hair types, hair styling, adjusting of clippers (zero gapping), state board preparation, as well as clientele building.

TUITION

Total tuition is $3,272.50  

• A $1,250 deposit is required to lock in your spot! This is due at the time you enroll. 

• ZERO interest payment plan. 

• Pay the rest off in monthly payments.

• Textbook is included in your tuition. Tools/equipment are not.

TOOLS/BOOKS

• Your textbook is covered—no need to buy that.

• You’ll need to buy your own tools/equipment.

• Don’t worry—we’ll give you a full list of what to get and where to get it for the best prices.

• Tools cost usually run between $500–$800, depending on what you pick. 

• Already have your own tools? You’re good to go—you’re not required to buy from our list. 

HOURS

You need to complete 200 total hours to graduate. At least 12 in-person hours per week are required. You can complete those during any open class hours (day or night). Theory (bookwork) can be done at home, at your own pace.

• 140 in-person hours (hands-on training)

• 60 online hours (theory)

Day Class: Tuesday - Friday 10:00am to 4:00pm; Saturday 10:00am to 3:00pm.

Night Class: Tuesday - Friday 4:00pm to 7:30pm; Saturday 10:00am to 3:00pm.

What you need to enroll

Bring the following to your enrollment appointment:

• Your $1,250 deposit (cash, check, card, or Venmo). Checks made out to The Barber Academy. Card payments have a 3% fee.

• High school diploma, GED, or 10th grade transcript. Still in high school? No problem—you don’t need to provide this yet. If you don’t have any of those documents, no worries—we’ll set you up with a quick assessment to see if you’re eligible

• Photo I.D.

• You need to know your social security number or your ITIN (Individual Tax Identification Number).

• Be at least 16 years old (if you’re under 18, bring a parent/guardian with you).

• up to date cosmetology license.
